It happens all the time. I am surfing the World Wide Web and a banner pops up on my screen. I usually see this as an annoyance, and almost always close it or delete it. It seems advertisers deliberately create banners that are designed to annoy. In fact, I tend to distrust the businesses that use these. In fact, I automatically close the pop up ads, and have a policy of never clicking on them. I feel that if I want to buy something, then I will seek it out n my own. I resent something imposing itself on my screen. I am a supporter of business and capitalism and believe that everyone has the right to earn a living, but I do not like it when these ads distract me with a product for which I have no interest. I do not now if these ads are successful, but they do not work with me. There has to be a better way to advertise a product. |
